THE SELF WORTH DIET – Because Low Self Esteem Is Fattening

The Self Worth Diet Daily Temperature

Image

I find that it is important every day to review the day before and write down everything I ate, what I did well and what I didn’t do well. In order to have healthy self worth, having self awareness is very important. I log everything I’ve eaten the day before to make sure I’m eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and that I’m staying away from dangerous processed foods and sugar. Upon reviewing my day I know if I need to make an amends to anyone because having self worth means you’re accountable for your words and actions. I also see where I can do better the next day as well as congratulate myself for things I have done well.

I encourage everyone in the comments section to write down their daily temperature.

Daily AEIOU Plus Y and G

A – Appetite

Breakfast – Apple

Lunch – Salad with kale, spinach, red beans, beets and carrots

Snack – Raspberries

Dinner – Chicken and veggies

E – Exercise

I hurt my knee so I rested it yesterday. I will be doing some swimming tonight

I – Myself

I worked on my Marianne Williamson interview article. Reworked it actually, one editor didn’t want it so now I have another place I write for who wants it.

O – Others

I made my hubby tilapia fish, arugula and tomatoes.   I helped a friend out who is having trouble with her marriage.

U – Uncover Feelings (what was the predominant feeling you had yesterday? And what could you do better?)

I felt discouraged a bit yesterday with this doctor I saw but then realized that God is taking care of me and showing me that this doctor is not someone I should be seeing. After further research I see he has a lot of malpractice cases against him and I can kinda see why.

I could have handled getting lost on the way to the doctor better. I have Waze and GPS for f’ sake.   I don’t know why I freak out when I get lost but I do. I gotta work on that.

Y- Yahoo (what was the highlight of my day yesterday)

My Tuesday recovery meeting and my friend Andy spoke. He was great and inspiring.

G- Gratitude (List 3 things you are grateful for)

I’m grateful for gut instinct, I must always follow it. I’m grateful for my recovery program. I’m grateful for red flags.
