I find that it is important every day to review the day before and write down everything I ate, what I did well and what I didn’t do well. In order to have healthy self worth, having self awareness is very important. I log everything I’ve eaten the day before to make sure I’m eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and that I’m staying away from dangerous processed foods and sugar. Upon reviewing my day I know if I need to make an amends to anyone because having self worth means you’re accountable for your words and actions. I also see where I can do better the next day as well as congratulate myself for things I have done well.
I encourage everyone in the comments section to write down their daily temperature.

Nothing. Fine. You try working a full time job, do a blog and everything else I gotta do. Wow, really got defensive there. I will exercise this weekend, for reals.
I – Myself
What I did for myself yesterday – I went to my writer’s workshop and got a lot of work done and great input.
O – Others
What I did for others yesterday – I helped my husband with his 2 week notice letter. I went to my writers workshop and helped the other ladies with their work.
U – Uncover Feelings (what was the predominant feeling you had yesterday? And what could you do better?)
I was excited yesterday about my husband’s new job. I was in some self centered fear about Huffington Post publishing my Shapshay vs. Jenny Craig article. I feared being rejected and not good enough…essentially I had some self doubt going on. I could have gotten out of the self doubt earlier and not let it fester. I could have replaced fear with faith sooner.
Y- Yahoo (what was the highlight of my day yesterday)
The highlight of my day yesterday was hearing from my husband that he got the job.
G- Gratitude (List 3 things you are grateful for)
I’m grateful for my husband’s new job, my blog and sobriety
