THE SELF WORTH DIET – Because Low Self Esteem Is Fattening

The Self Worth Daily Diet Temperature 3.20.14

Image

I find that it is important every day to review the day before and write down everything I ate, what I did well and what I didn’t do well.  In order to have healthy self worth, having self awareness is very important.  I log everything I’ve eaten the day before to make sure I’m eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and that I’m staying away from dangerous processed foods and sugar.  Upon reviewing my day I know if I need to make an amends to anyone because having self worth means you’re accountable for your words and actions.  I also see where I can do better the next day as well as congratulate myself for things I have done well.

I encourage everyone in the comments section to write down their daily temperature.

Breakfast – Oatmeal

Lunch – Salmon with steamed vegetables

Snack – Almonds, cashews and an apple

Dinner – Grilled chicken and minestrone soup

E – Exercise

Don’t judge me, people, I swear I will get to some exercise this weekend.  I walked a little at lunch to the mall (so doesn’t count).

I – Myself

What I did for myself yesterday – I went to bed earlier

O – Others

What I did for others yesterday – Started reading a script that my friend wrote, helped my husband with writing an application and doled out some spiritual advice to a friend.

U – Uncover Feelings (what was the predominant feeling you had yesterday? And what could you do better?)

I was super jazzed about my blog but impatient that I don’t have more followers and people taking notice…it’s only been 5 days, I need to relax.   I need to be more relaxed and go with the flow better.  I also need to have faith that everything will work out the way it is supposed to.

Y- Yahoo (what was the highlight of my day yesterday)

The highlight of my day was making my husband laugh by being a complete goofball.

G- Gratitude (List 3 things you are grateful for)

I’m grateful for peace and calm, my loving husband and The Voice – friggin’ love that show
